Desserts and Sweet Dishes For Navratri
During Navratri we prepare delicious desserts and sweet dishes using vrat-friendly ingredients like sabudana, makhana and singhara flour.
Popular sweets are kheer made from samak rice, coconut ladoos, and sweet potato halwa which are both nutritious and satisfying. Jaggery, honey, and dry fruits are used as natural sweeteners instead of refined sugar. These festive treats not only give energy during fasting but also add to the celebrations.
Tutti Frutti Ice Cream
You can make yummy tutti frutti ice cream in less than 5 minutes by following this recipe. While surfing the internet, I discovered these two or three ingredient vanilla ice cream recipe.
Since then, I have tried the method several times with my own combination and permutations. The best part is these ice cream recipes can be prepared quickly and do not require any cooking or ice-cream maker.
Gajar Ka Halwa
In the Northern India you can all also lovingly call the gajar ka halva as gajrela and this traditional carrot halwa recipe | gajar ka halwa recipe is normally made with full fat milk ghee and sugar.
If you are cooking with the full fat milk then you generally don’t need to add khoya which is evaporated milk solids.
Lauki Ka Halwa
Lauki Ka Halwa Recipe, Dudhi Halwa Recipe, Lauki Ka Halwa, Indian Dessert Recipe, Rich And Creamy Indian Dessert, or bottle gourd dessert recipes are very common during the festival seasons.
It is massively prepared during Navaratri fasting or marriages or during any festive season/fasting season. Lauki Ka Halwa is one such common dessert recipe prepared with 2 purposes…
Sabudana Kheer
Sago, milk, and sugar are used to make the delicious sweet dish known as sago pulao. It’s a popular Indian sweet made on Hindu fasting days and is meant to be eaten during fasts. It’s a creamy, rich dessert that kids especially enjoy. Sago pearls are very light and easy to digest. Sago pearls are a good source of carbohydrates and among its main benefits is that it quickly breaks down into glucose.
Paneer Kheer
If you have to prepare sweets for the guests in a hurry. Paneer kheer is one such dish that can be prepared in less than 25 minutes and needs only paneer and milk, as well as some dry fruits.
You may also add your favorite dried fruits to the mix. When preparing this kheer, use only fresh milk. The recipe tastes somewhat like Rasmalai
Badam Kheer | Badam Payasam
During festive occasions, kheer and payasam recipes are easy to make and do not take much time. You can make badam kheer or badam payasam using homemade almond paste, store-bought almond pastes are also fine. Badam kheer is a creamier and thicker version of badam milk. The flavor and texture of badam kheer are different from badam milk, a light, refreshing beverage drink.
Badam Laddoo
You may also make these ladoos at any time and offer them to children. I prepare small amounts and keep the ground almonds in an airtight container because they can rapidly go rancid.
If you’re making ladoos for special events, you may easily double or triple the recipe to produce a huge batch.

That’s so tempting and mouthwatering recipes. They are healthy too. Definitely, try out recipes at home.
