You can make yummy tutti frutti ice cream in less than 5 minutes by following this recipe.

While surfing the internet, I discovered these two or three ingredient vanilla ice cream recipes, and since then, I have tried the method several times with my own combination and permutations.

The best part is these ice cream recipes can be prepared quickly and do not require any cooking or ice cream maker.

The ice cream is basically no-cook and no-churn. It also gets made in about 15 minutes flat. 

It is the time taken for freezing that takes up the remainder of the time. It is also possible to make different varieties of ice cream from the ice cream base.

This method looked very easy, so I made vanilla ice cream with it a few times, even though I usually add milk to both vanilla and chocolate ice cream recipes. 

The ice cream exceeded my expectations as it was soft, smooth, creamy, and delicious. As only whipping cream and condensed milk is used, there is no possibility of ice crystals in these basic 2 ingredients of the ice cream recipe.

Use whipping cream having 30% to 50% fat. I always add between 2.5 and 2.75 cups of cream. The sweetness of this magnitude is fine for us. When you want your ice cream to be very sweet, add 2 cups and add 3 cups of sweetened condensed milk with 400 grams of cream to make it less sweet.

Steps To Make Tutti Frutti Ice Cream At Home

1. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla extract to 2 cups of chilled whipping cream or vanilla essence to 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence, if using the essence.

2. With an electric beater at full capacity, begin whipping the cream. The timing will vary depending on the cream fat content. Both for fresh cream and for amul whipping cream, it takes 8 to 10 minutes. Also, do not whip the cream too much or it will become butter.

3. You can whip until stiff peaks are formed. You can also whip till soft peaks if using 25% fat cream.

You may now add 400 grams of chilled sweetened condensed milk (which is about 1.6 cups).

5. Fold gently but very well. Also, take care not to overfold as this could result in your ice cream mixture falling flat.

6. Next fold up the mixture again and add 13 to 12 cup of tutti frutti.

7. Cover tightly the ice cream once it is removed from the box. If the bowl is freezer safe, you can cover it with a lid or aluminum foil.

8. Place the ice cream bowl in the freezer until it has set.

9. After removing the ice cream from the storage container, allow it to sit at room temperature for some minutes. Take a scoop, and use it to serve the tutti frutti ice cream. You can sprinkle some tutti frutti from the top if desired.

Recipe Notes

Instead of tutti frutti, you can cut glazed cherries into small pieces if you don’t have them.

Dry fruits can be substituted for Tutti Frutti. Thus, dry fruit ice cream can be prepared in place of Tutti Frutti.
