Ingredients
- 2 rhizomes of fresh turmeric cut into roundels
- a handful of Coriander leaves
- a handful – Curry leaves
- a handful- Mint leaves
- 1-Onion finely chopped
- 1-2 Green chillies
- 1-2 Red chillies
- 2 tsp Cooking oil
- ¼ tsp Hing powder
- 1 tsp Tamarind paste
- 4 tbsp Fried grams
- 2 tbsp Grated coconut
- Salt to taste
For seasoning
- 2 tsp cooking oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Split urad dhal
- 1 tsp Channa dal
- 1 sprig curry leaves
Instructions
- Wash, clean, and maintain all three greens.
- Put oil in a pan, add hing powder, red and green chillies with onions, then add fresh turmeric pieces.
- Sauté the onions and turmeric for 2-3 minutes before adding the greens.
- Sauté the greens until they shrink a little bit, then add tamarind paste and salt to taste.
- You can now add fried grams.
- Once the coconut is added, turn off the heat and mix everything together.
- After cooling, grind the chutney to a fine consistency, adding the above ingredients.
- Idlis, dosas, or any variety of tiffin go well with this dish.
