        Recipe Notes

Milk options: Cashew milk, oats milk, and soy milk make delicious banana shakes, although I like coconut and almond milk better. But if you can’t get your hands on any the milk would do fine but then be sure of not being lactulose intolerant.

Want an extra thick banana shake? As-is, this drink is extremely smooth and creamy. Append a few ice cubes while blending for a thicker milkshake similar to what you’d find in the U.S. A vegan vanilla ice cream or flash-frozen banana slices can also be used.

Scaling up: No need to limit yourself to just one banana shake. About two to three servings can be made from this recipe. This recipe can be halved to make 1 or 2 generous servings or doubled to make 4 to 6 glasses.

You should enjoy the banana milkshake as soon as you make it. Keeping it in the fridge won’t preserve it. It’s best served cold and creamy.
