Ingredients

  • 12 rasgullas
  • 1 tin milkmaid condensed milk
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1½ tsp Green cardamom powder/elaichi
  • Few saffron strands
  • Chopped Pistachios and almonds for garnish

    Instructions

    1. Open the tin and squeeze the syrup out of the ready-made rasgulla balls. Do not press them too hard, or else they will break.
    2. For the rasgulla balls to absorb the milk, ensure that all of the syrup has been extracted. Set these aside.
    3. Boil milk and allow it to simmer the milk for around 5-6 mins in a heavy bottom pan.
    4. Add condensed milk and stir well to blend well.
    5. Add the saffron and cardamom powder to the dish. Alternatively, You can melt the saffron in little hot milk and add too.
    6. Boil the milk and condensed milk blend on medium flame while continuously stirring it.
    7. Now, gently add the rasgula to it.
    8. After adding, let the mixture simmer for one or two minutes. Be cautious not to overcook, as this can ruin them.
    9. Easy rasmalai using rasgulla is ready in less than 10 minutes. Garnish with slivered nuts and pistachios.

    Note:

    -It will be sufficient even if you use ¾th can of condensed milk and 1.5 cups of milk.

    -If you have a sweet tooth, so use up the entire can, and enjoy the creamy milk too. So adjust to suit your need.
