Making espresso coffee in a Moka pot requires purchasing the proper coffee and grinding the beans correctly.

To make espresso, you must use coffee that has been specifically roasted for espresso, and that is medium ground coffee.

Because standard American/Northern European drip coffees are not ground to the proper consistency and contain too many bitter oils, they won’t work.

For a good Moka pot coffee, try Illy medium-grind espresso. You can also buy it as whole beans that need to be ground yourself, sold in silver-and-red cylinders.

Use a milk-foaming mug by Apexstone to make a caffè macchiato (espresso shot with a touch of foamed milk) or a cappuccino from your moka pot.

They are available in ceramic (for use in a microwave) and metal (for use on a stovetop).

The milk is heated (on the stovetop version over low heat just until the milk is hot, and on the ceramic version for about 45 seconds).

Then to froth the milk the milk-foaming attachment is pumped vigorously for about 20 seconds until a thick and velvety foam is formed.

Allow the foam to grow denser and smoother by tapping the bottom of the mug on the countertop to break up any bigger bubbles, and then add it to the flavorful coffee after 1 minute.

A French-press coffee maker can also be used to foam milk.

      2. After Reading the content about the Moka Pot I found it real interesting but the fact is that these days selective range of people will go for it in India. Reason 1: Majority is prone to instant coffee Reason 2: A niche segment is keen to have filter coffee only Reason 3: For enjoying expresso coffee the cafes are already there to enjoy and now also offers home delivery Reason 4: Now we have alternatives like Coffee Cubes with Palm Jaggery which made coffee consumption healthy, easy and tasty. But the best part of this review is that I got to know about a product which I can gift to my neighbour as she is fond of having coffee and this process suits her. Thanks for the recommendation.
