  • 10 or ¼ cup green grapes
  • 10 or ¼ cup red grapes
  • 1 small-sized or ¼ cup banana
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 small-sized or ¼ cup mango
  • ½ medium-sized or ¼ cup apple

How To Prepare Milk Custard Recipe

  1. Put milk in a heavy-bottomed pan and stir it occasionally until the milk starts to boil.
  2. While waiting, mix together 2 tablespoons of custard powder with 3-4 tablespoons of milk in a bowl. I have used vanilla custard powder.
  3. Make sure it doesn’t get lumpy by stirring continuously.
  4. As soon as the milk starts to boil, lower the flame and add the prepared custard mixture in while stirring continuously to prevent any lumps from forming.
  5. Added sugar to taste. If a sweeter custard is desired, adjust the amount.
  6. Mix continuously, close the flame when you see the milk colour changing to dark yellow.
  7. Furthermore, it thickens slightly. If you want it thicker, then adjust the consistency by cooking for a longer time.
  8. Pour the mixture into a small bowl and allow it to cool completely. It can be served hot in winters and chilled in summers. That’s the beauty of this dessert.

How To Prepare Tutti Frutti Custard | Fruit Custard

  1. Add chopped or whole fruits like red grapes, pomegranate seeds, green grapes, banana, mango, apple, and Tutti Frutti (for garnishing also) of your choice to the cooled custard milk.
  2. You can additionally add cardamom powder and mix gently.
  3. Cover and chill for 2 hours or more.
  4. Once the custard fruit salad has chilled, it turns more thick and creamy.
  5. Add whipped cream, egg Flakes, or ice cream if required.
  6. Finally, serve fruit custard chilled.

How To Prepare Egg Flakes For An Egg-based Custard

  1. Beat the egg whites till stiff.
  2. Spoon them and add to the boiling milk as the custard is being prepared. 
  3. You’ll see them fluff up as they get cooked.

  • Add a variety of fruits to make custard fruit salad more delicious.
