- 2 cups or ½ litre full cream milk
- 2 tbsp custard powder
- 3 tbsp cold milk
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp cardamom powder / elachi powder
Fruits for (chopped):
- 10 or ¼ cup green grapes
- 10 or ¼ cup red grapes
- 1 small-sized or ¼ cup banana
- ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 small-sized or ¼ cup mango
- ½ medium-sized or ¼ cup apple

How To Prepare Milk Custard Recipe
- Put milk in a heavy-bottomed pan and stir it occasionally until the milk starts to boil.
- While waiting, mix together 2 tablespoons of custard powder with 3-4 tablespoons of milk in a bowl. I have used vanilla custard powder.
- Make sure it doesn’t get lumpy by stirring continuously.
- As soon as the milk starts to boil, lower the flame and add the prepared custard mixture in while stirring continuously to prevent any lumps from forming.
- Added sugar to taste. If a sweeter custard is desired, adjust the amount.
- Mix continuously, close the flame when you see the milk colour changing to dark yellow.
- Furthermore, it thickens slightly. If you want it thicker, then adjust the consistency by cooking for a longer time.
