Despite any disinterest, I felt I had no choice but to try it out. After attempting this recipe several times, I succeeded in getting the right texture and color.

Ingredients
- 500 grams raw papaya / papita
- 7 cup water
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 drops food colour (red, green, yellow)
Instructions
- To begin with, peel the papaya, then cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- The papaya should be cut into small cubes.
- Boil the papaya cubes in 4 cup water for 5 minutes.
- Cook until the papaya cubes turn into semi-transparent.
- Drain off the water and keep aside.
- In a big pot, mix 2 cups sugar with 3 cups water.
- Further, add semi-cooked raw papaya cubes, stirring continuously.
- Boiling for 20 minutes while stirring constantly will give you desired results.
- You should make sure that the sugar syrup is a string consistency and the papaya to be able to hold its shape.
- Add 1 tsp vanilla extract and turn off the flame. Mix well.
- Add sugar syrup to the cooked papaya cubes and divide into 3 parts.
- Mix together each part with four drops of red, yellow and green food coloring.
- Make sure the papaya absorbs all the color by soaking for 12 hours or a day.
- after draining off the syrup and allowing them to dry over a kitchen towel is a good idea.
- After all the tutti-frutti has dried completely, it won’t stick. You can mix the colours together.
- Tutti frutti dessert is now ready to eat right away, or to be refrigerated for later use.
