There are several names for this sweet confection across the globe, but in India, it is also called candied papaya. Only in India is tutti frutti made from papaya and in other countries is it made from chopped berries and fruits. They are primarily used as a topping to cakes, custard, and ice cream in India.

I used to buy this homemade tutti frutti from the local Indian grocery store and never make it for myself. Until I saw the recipe on the wikiHow page, I was unaware of the recipe.

This recipe turned out to be so easy and simple that I was surprised. I used to think it was made from chopped fruit when I was younger. However, I was unaware of raw papaya.

Despite any disinterest, I felt I had no choice but to try it out. After attempting this recipe several times, I succeeded in getting the right texture and color.

The third attempt was my most satisfactory, so I decided to share that with you all.

In addition, here are a few helpful hints on making the tutti frutti recipe. The artificial colors that I have used do not have any influence on the taste and are simple to make the dish look more attractive.

It can be ignored if you don’t want to use what it contains. you can also use natural colours like saffron, turmeric, and even beetroot juice.

The papaya can be cut into a desired shape and size since its size is not limited. Finally, keep these refrigerated and in a sealed polythene bag for longer shelf life.
