Ingredients For Bajra Peas Roti
- 1 cup bajra (black millet) flour [buy online]
- ½ cup boiled and mashed green peas
- 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
- 1 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
- salt to taste
- bajra (black millet) flour for dusting
- 2 tsp oil for cooking
Method For Bajra Peas Roti
- Combine all the ingredients and knead with enough warm water to make bajra peas roti.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
- Take a portion of the dough on a rolling board and pat it with your fingers to form a 150 mm. (6″) diameter circle using a little bajra flour for dusting.
- Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook the roti, using ¼ tsp of oil, until itt becomes goldenish brown in color on both the sides.
- Make 7 more rotis by repeating steps 3 and 4.
- Serve the bajra peas roti immediately.
