    Ingredients for Bajra Ki Roti Recipe

    • Millet flour (Bajra Attaa) – 500 grams
    • Salt – as per taste (if you want)
    • Hot Water
    • butter or ghee

    Instructions To Make Bajre Ki Roti Recipe

    1. Sieve the millet flour in a wide utensil. Knead the dough with the help of lukewarm water.
    2. Keep the griddle on the gas and heat it. 
    3. Take out dough from the kneaded dough to make 2 rotis and make the dough soft by kneading it with your hands, adding water little by little if necessary, make it soft. 
    4. Take out a roti dough from the soft dough, make it round, and make it bigger than the palms.
    5. Apply some water to the palms. With the help of the palms of both hands, roll the dough into a diameter of 5-6 inches. 
    6. Put roti on a hot griddle. Flip after roasting.
    7. When the second surface of the roti is cooked, lift the roti with the help of a flipper, and roast it on low flame, rotating it till it turns brown on both sides.
    8. Apply ghee on hot roti. 
    9. Gram greens taste very good with bajra roti, Urad gram dal tastes good, bajra roti tastes good with mustard greens, and you can have hot crispy bajra with any vegetable of your choice.

      Recipe Notes To Make Easy Bajra Roti

      1. If you find it difficult to flatten bajra roti by hand, then you can flatten the roti in another way. 
      2. Take out a little dough from the kneaded dough, make it soft, make a ball, place a thick square on a polythene wheel/damp handkerchief.
      3. Place the ball on the polyethene wheel/damp handkerchief, cover the ball with another square polythene wheel/damp handkerchief and flatten it with the help of your palm or roll it out with a rolling pin. 
      4. Remove the polythene wheel/damp handkerchief attached above. 
      5. Lift the roti with a light hand, put it on a hot griddle, and after roasting it on the lower surface, flip it over. 
      6. When the second surface of the roti is cooked, lift the roti with the help of a flipper, and roast it on low flame, rotating it till it turns brown on both sides.
