This recipe uses leftover bread slices and vegetable toppings to make a unique parantha. That is why I call this more like a chilla than a parantha
My leftover bread slices have been used in many recipes. Among them, most are snacks or deep-fried foods.
I have posted recipes that fall under the healthy breakfast section and thought of sharing the bread chilla recipe under that section.
The bread parantha is not something I make often. I make either sandwich recipes or use the leftover bread slices for my dinner with a choice of curries.
Yet sometimes, I end up making these bread chilla recipes as I run out of options for my morning breakfast.
It is not because I have some leftover bread slices, but to create something new and break the monotonous breakfast regime.
Listed below are a few tips, suggestions, and variations for the tasty bread chilla recipe. For any bread-based recipe, I always recommend white-plain flour-based sandwich slices.
A different taste may be achieved by using multigrain or wheat-based bread slices. Second, adding veggies is entirely up to you, so you can experiment with whatever you like.
In addition to raw veggies and corn, other vegetables can also be added. After the bread chilla has been rolled and fried, it must be served immediately.
In any other case, it will likely turn chewy and rubbery due to the gluten.
