Ingredients

  • 1½   tbsp extra virgin oil
  • 3 sprigs curry leaves
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tsp crushed ginger
  • ½ tsp hing asafetida
  • 3 cups white rice long grain (cooked)
  • 1 cup curd
  • 2 tsp FoodAllTime Tadka
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil over medium heat in kadhai/ wok/ saucepan.
  2. Add FoodAllTime Tadka and once it splutters add ginger, curry leaves and green chillies. When the curry leaves turn crisp, add hing, and turn down the stove.
  3. Add rice, salt, and stir until everything is fully incorporated. Cook for 2 minutes on slow flame with lid on. Remove from fire and rest for 5 minutes (keep the lid on.)
  4. Remove lid and add the curd.
  5. Stir thoroughly and adjust the salt as per your taste.
  6. Served warm, serve chilled, or pack for tiffin.
