Today I bring to you excellent old-school restaurant-style hash browns potato recipe. Ideal with warm pepper sauce and ketchup and poached eggs you are going to love it!

Hash browns potatoes or hashed browns are an easy preparation in which potatoes are pan-fried after being shredded, diced, julienned or riced, in the style of a Swiss Rösti.

In a few cultures, hash browns or hashed browns can be compared with any of these preparations, whilst in others, it could confer with one particular preparation.

Ingredients

  • Unpeeled potatoes         4nos
  • Salt                               to taste
  • Pepper                          to taste
  • Clarified butter               100ml
  • Chopped parsley            50gm

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and roast at 200 c for 20 minutes in the oven.
  2. Peel potatoes and grate, mix with salt, crushed pepper, and chopped parsley.
  3. Check the seasoning and make a patty with a small ring cutter.
  4. Then put clarified butter on hot tawa add patty and cook both sides till golden brown colour.
  5. Then served with egg preparation as accompaniment.
