Frozen Curly Fries Using Air Fryer
I am a tremendous fan of French Fries and can never get sufficient of them. Though they were never healthy, they were always comfort food.
They never had a fantastic kitchen appliance like an Air Fryer back then so, they were ALWAYS deep-fried and have to admit it that they tasted amazing.
I would go to our local market and enjoy chips with some coke or mom would cook it at home, and we would relish it with some dips.

They were delicious, and when I was growing up, I could have them for just ₹5 per plate, including a bread bun and a small bottle of fizzy drink.
When my parents would be out and about, and I would be at home wanting something to eat.
There would perpetually be a large potato in the bottom of the fridge, and I would peel it and cook myself some delicious fries.
I would later have them with some tomato ketchup as most teenagers of my age would do.
But my BEST fries moment was on holiday with my Dad in Pune. You would visit any café there, and it was fries all the way.
Consequently, if you consumed them all, they would come back and refill your chip basket with some more.
They would serve the fries with the most delicious portion of homemade mayonnaise, and I would be in heaven.
But all of these were high calorie, and they were far from healthy. Gradually in the 90’s, these traditions slowly stopped and in came the era of frozen fries.
All the deep frying scares the hell out of me, and I am haunted by the number of calories I will be eating.
However, the air fryer is ideal for cooking frozen curly fries instead. You simply toss your frozen curly fries into the air fryer and let the air fryer show its magic.

Preheat the air fryer to 200c/400f.
Set your curly fries into the air fryer basket.
Roast for 12 minutes at 200c/400f and serve.
If you prepare your frozen curly fries below 200c, they will finish up being soggy and not have a crispy crust.
The same theory applies if you cook them for a shorter time.
We discovered that our curly fries were prepared after 7.5 minutes but required a longer time to stop them been soggy.
