There is no reason not to make your own tartar sauce because it’s incredibly easy to make, and most of the ingredients to do so are already in your kitchen.

There are, however, some differences between bottled tartar sauces. With prepared tartar sauce, you can have a real hit-or-miss experience. As a result, I have homemade tartar sauce.

Mayonnaise forms the base of this tartar sauce. Add dill pickles, capers, Dijon mustard, shallots, scallions, and Tabasco hot sauce to that.

The best tartar sauce is made with mayonnaise, finely chopped pickles, and capers. But no, this is from scratch, made just the way my 30-SECOND MAYONNAISE is made, with a room temperature egg and vegetable oil as its base.

I add some dill pickles, capers, lemon, mustard, and some salt and pepper to the jar. It blends up instantaneously with my stick blender into a creamy tartar sauce.

That’s all there is to it! You can prepare it in 30 seconds and your own freshly made tartar sauce will always taste better than any packaged variety you can find in the store.

In addition, you can control the amount of salt and spice in your recipe. And again, it’s incredibly easy to make!

You can make tartar sauce in no time at all. The ingredients just have to be thrown in together in a bowl, mixed together, and you’re done! You are good to go.

Tartar sauce should be kept covered and chilled in the refrigerator. It should be able to stay healthy for a week or longer.
