      Ingredients

      • fistful mint/pudina leaves
      • fistful coriander leaves
      • ½ inch ginger (grated)
      • 2 tsp cumin seeds
      • ½ tsp amchur powder
      • black salt to taste
      • 2½ glass water
      • ½ lemon
      • ½ tsp pepper (crushed)
      • few ice cubes

        Instructions

        1. Roast the cumin seeds until they start to turn slightly black.
        2. Let cool, then grind into a fine powder and set aside.
        3. In a small blender take a fistful of mint and coriander leaves and make a smooth paste adding the required water. Keep aside when ready.
        4. Grate the ginger and keep it aside.
        5. Now in a large jug, add a few ice cubes, grated ginger, and coriander + mint puree to it.
        6. Add roasted cumin powder, some amchur powder, and black salt. (You can also replace with salt with black salt.)
        7. Add 2 glasses of water and squeeze some lemon juice into it and add crushed black pepper powder.
        8. Give it a good shake and check for seasoning.
        9. Transfer to serving glass or jar and drop few ice cubes just before you serve.

        Recipe Notes

        • You can also add boondi as a topping to this drink.
        • Instead of adding water, you can replace it with carbonated water or soda water.
        • Optionally you can add some sugar if you like some sweet taste to your drink.
